What’s New At Open Arms?
Open Arms and Trinity Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Winter Dancical (Dance-Musical) on December 19! This will be a rendition of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and will be full of dancing and acting!
If your student is looking for performance opportunities without the commitment of our Company Team, this is the perfect opportunity for them!
Students can choose what they would like to participate in. The price will remain the same, whether they participate only in dancing or everything! The price is all-inclusive (costumes, choreography, scenery, etc.) and costs $115 for already enrolled students and $150 for students not yet enrolled at Open Arms. If your student is not yet enrolled in classes and decides to enroll during Dancical rehearsals, we will waive our $25 registration fee.
Everyone is welcome to join regardless of dance experience or ability. We will hold placement "auditions" on October 4 from 2-4 pm. We will use these auditions only to determine which routines students will be placed in.
Rehearsals will be on weekends only throughout October, November, and December. The exact rehearsal schedule will be released after auditions. Students must be prepared for 2-hour rehearsals on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, as well as a mandatory dress rehearsal on December 18.
