Summer Camp Attire
Please send your child in clothing that they can move comfortably in
Students will participate in crafts and play outside; things may get messy! Please keep this in mind when dressing your child for camp
Students will also have some calmer activities throughout the day, including time for coloring, playing board games, and reading. Feel free to send your child with a book or games they may want to play with their friends! Open Arms will also have books and games for students.
Lunch and Snacks
Campers will have lunch and 2 snacks throughout each day of camp.
Open Arms will provide 1 of the 2 snacks each day for your child. This snack will match the theme of each week of camp. Please be sure to pack a second snack for your child, or 2, in case they do not like the snack that we provide.
Every Tuesday, campers will get to work as a team to make a fun snack to enjoy! We will provide everything your camper will need for this snack.
Please be sure to let us know of ALL food allergies that your child has (airborne included) so that we can ensure every camper is in a safe environment!
If your camper is enrolled in aftercare, feel free to send them with a third snack!
Open Arms will keep small snacks on hand. If you need assistance in providing a packed lunch or snacks for your child, please let us know. We want to create a positive, inclusive environment for ALL students, and we are more than happy to provide!

Pick-Up and Drop-off
Drop-off begins at 8:30am. If your student will be arriving after 9:00am, please let us know ahead of time so that we can be looking out for them!
Pick-Up begins at 3:15pm. We ask that all students are picked up by 3:45pm, unless they are enrolled in aftercare
Aftercare pick-up begins at 5:15pm. We ask that all students are picked up by 5:45pm, to allow for a smooth transition into evening summer classes.
If you are going to be late for pickup, no worries! Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements for your child to have activities to pass the time, as well as a counselor to look after them.
Showcase
Campers will learn a new dance routine, as well as an acting scene each week of camp!
At the end of the week, we will hold a showcase for parents to watch their routines, and see all of their children’s artwork and crafts from the week
Showcase will take place Fridays from 3:00-3:30pm, and students will leave with parents afterwards
If your child is enrolled in aftercare and you:
Make it to showcase
Feel free to leave your student for aftercare and return to pick them up, or take them with you after showcase
Cannot make it to showcase
Pick your child up at your normal pickup time
Showcase will be recorded and shared with you so that you can see all of your child’s hard work from the week!
