Sponsorships last from the time funds are received until Recital Day. This is also the period where sponsor benefits are valid. One-time sponsorships are distributed as soon as they are received and only apply to the specific opportunity that they support. Summer Sponsorships are valid for the summer season only.

In general, no. Sponsorships are distributed based on current needs in the studio. If you have a preference on whether your contribution supports scholarships, competition, or community, please make note of that in your sponsorship inquiry. One-time sponsorships support 1 specific need of your choice. While you have greater ability to choose what your one-time sponsorship supports, you, in general, cannot choose specific students to support.

Gold and Corporate Gold Sponsors are the only customizable sponsorship tiers. Our Corporate Gold Tier is our most flexible tier, and we work closely with our Corporate Gold sponsors to ensure that their sponsorship goes far for both Open Arms and their own business.

Benefits begin as soon as we have received sponsorship funds and required recognition materials. All discounts will be active and applied to any existing students, and website updates and social media announcements will be made within a week of receiving funds.

Open Arms Dance Academy is a for-profit LLC, so sponsorship payments are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. A business sponsor MAY be able to treat its sponsorship as an advertising or marketing expense if it qualifies as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Sponsors should consult their tax professional regarding their individual circumstances. Open Arms will provide an invoice or payment receipt.
